In 2006, the gallery collaborated with the Texas Gallery in Houston to realize Fulton's project "Geronimo Homeland," a sixteen day walk made by the artist in the world's first designated wilderness, the Gila National forest in Southwestern New Mexico. A large scale installation resulting from this walk was exhibited at the gallery in 2007. An artist's book, published by Christine Burgin and Texas Gallery accompanied the exhibition, offering a rare glimpse into Fulton's thoughts on art, nature and the meaning of environmental activism.
